10 Ways to Avoid Hosting a Boring Webinar
If you're like me, you've watched more webinars and virtual presentations in the last four months than you've seen in your life. Some are quite good, while others are lacking content, excitement, or both.
This week's blog is different from almost everything I've had over the last four years. I was recently interviewed for a blog on another website and I'm running it as a guest blog.
The blog is extremely well written and more than anything, gives some great tips to help you make better when doing virtual presentations.
The Backstory
A few weeks ago, I got a call from Jeff Seymour, the President of GamePlan Marketing in Toronto.
Jeff explained GamePlan Marketing is a digital marketing agency that provides lead generation, content creation, marketing strategy and automated marketing services for IT companies.
He then talked about his frustration during the pandemic of watching people do boring presentations. He said he’s seen people do presentations in person, but when they do a virtual presentation or webinar, it’s flat and sometimes downright boring.
I offered a few ideas for better presentations and Jeff suggested GamePlan's writer Stephanie Ferguson interview me for a blog for his website, that has a ton of content to help companies market themselves better.
With that background, here’s what Stephanie produced - 10 Ways to Avoid Hosting a Boring Webinar.
